Our apartment is about a 25 minute walk to Suncorp Stadium – although I usually do it in 20 minutes because I’m a local with local knowledge and know where the footpath is alongside Hale Street. So, I am sharing this info with you!
Here is the best/fastest route to take if you want to walk to Suncorp Stadium.
Walking directions to Suncorp Stadium
Follow my written instructions more than the visual in the map – it should be easier for you!
- Leave the apartment and walk down Ramsgate Street.
- Turn right onto Carraway Street, then left onto Musk Avenue.
- Walk up Musk Ave and use the traffic lights to cross Kelvin Grove Road.
- Once across, veer slightly left toward Lower Clifton Terrace.
- Continue walking down Lower Clifton Terrace until it ends at Musgrave Road.
- Use the traffic lights to cross Musgrave Road.
🚨 Important local tip — this is where the maps get it wrong:
Once you’ve crossed Musgrave Road, turn right and stay on the footpath along Hale Street.
Ignore any map that tells you to go left or detour via Belgrave Street — it’s a longer route and completely unnecessary.
- Stay on the Hale Street footpath and follow it all the way down until you reach Caxton Street.
- Cross Caxton Street at the traffic lights and Suncorp Stadium is directly in front of you.
To get home, just do the same in reverse!
